DESCRIPTION

Equites is seeking a Billing Controller, capable of performing billing tasks and maintaining system data for logistics and industrial properties.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification (Property or finance-related degree / diploma)

The following additional requirements would be advantageous

  • 3 – 5 years relevant experience in a similar role
  • MDA software experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

RESPONSIBILITIES

The tasks below include some of the key responsibilities which will be assumed by the employee:

  • Manage and capture leases and addendums and upload to system
  • Prepare lease contract schedule for review
  • Recover maintenance related costs from tenants
  • Capture tenants’ insurance charges, utility fees, levy adjustments and tenant pro-rata splits on common shared charges
  • Prepare pre-billing check for management’s approval
  • Prepare and issue tenant invoices
  • Attend to billing queries received from tenants
  • Maintain integrity of system data
  • Maintain original signed lease documentation
  • Compile lease checklist and tenant diary
  • Prepare arrears schedule, with commentary, for Executive review and follow up on outstanding invoices from tenants
  • Assist with audits
  • Ensure tenant deposit / bank guarantee schedule is kept up to date
